About RoveCrest

RoveCrest was founded by UC Davis students to participate in the Mars Society's University Rover Challenge, applying what they learned in the classroom in a practical environment to design and build a product that not only lay in their chosen fields, but one that reflected their passion for innovation.

In its second year, the RoveCrest team now consists of over 70 students, spanning over 10 majors at UC Davis through all four years of undergraduate study. With an organizational structure consisting of eight sub-teams that work on different but interconnected aspects of the rover, RoveCrest simultaneously allows members to pursue work in their field of interest while emphasizing cooperation, communication, and understanding across disciplines
